Bound quarto with black cloth, gilt spine lettering, and marbled endpapers. Major 17th-century account of the environs of the Greek Peloponnesus done by Dapper (1636-1689), a Dutch physician and travel writer, who actually never left the Netherlands in his lifetime but assembled his guides from earlier explorers and geographers.
